**Major Duties**
- Serves as the J6 Accountable Property Manager (APM) for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and as the J6 expert on the management of the property accountability program for all IT assets.
- Ensures adjustments to the property accountability system are in direct correlation with all DOD, DLA Instructions (DLAI) and other applicable federal guidelines.
- Provides technical advice, guidance and assistance to all sites having J6 assets on processes and procedures for all assigned capital and non-capital accountable property.
- Prepares instructions, training material and job aids for the effective execution and management of the IT asset account property (AP) program and complies and submits reports to higher Headquarters.
- Serves as the principal AP program technical consultant to the DLA J6 command staff.
- Advises on all AP program matters, providing authoritative interpretations and guidance to management officials and to DLA J6 Accountable Property Officers (APOs).
