Duties

• Provides technical assistance to managers concerning appropriated and non-appropriated fund budgeting.
• Ensures the correct production of budgets and their execution including compliance with appropriate regulations, etc.
• Reviews and analyzes financial reports to identify trends, working capital and the NAFI's financial position
• Performs analyses of perform financial statements for proposed ventures; prepares/reviews return on investment schedules for capital projects; assists and guides managers deciding on capital reinvestments.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following

Work experience which includes:

• interpreting and assessing program financial performance using standard financial management systems;
• interpreting balance sheet and profit and loss statement results; and
• requiring the application of commercial budgeting techniques.
  
  

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

• Possess at least three (3) years of experience with DOD NAF MWR in field that requires financial knowledge.
• Must have knowledge of AR215-1 or equivalent and internal controls.
• Must have knowledge of NAF and APF (UFM - Uniform Funding Management) Funding.
• Do you have proficiency in business intelligence tools?

• This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
