Specialized experience is defined as: Experience analyzing, identifying, and solving various financial problems through various communications methods; experience developing and executing various financial models to review annual budgets, forecast budget execution, process funding documents or collections, or manage spend plans; or experience present findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
Time-in-Grade: Current or former federal employees who have held a GS position in the preceding 52 weeks, must meet the time in grade requirement. Applicant must have served 52 weeks as a GS-13 or higher grade in Federal Service.
You may qualify for consideration if meeting time-in grade, specialized experience, education requirement, 90 days after competitive appointment requirement, and all other qualification requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of the announcement, unless otherwise indicated on the announcement.

- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a diverse professional staff. Direct work in budget formulation, project coordination, customer support, and performance analysis to ensure organizational goals are met.
- Direct all budget phases, including formulation, justification, and execution. Formulate Defense Working Capital Fund (DWCF) rates and ensure financial operations comply with all laws and regulations.
- Lead short and long-term strategic planning for the organization’s services and related business requirements. Develop and maintain corporate business plans, proposals, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Analyze operational methods, procedures, and metrics to resolve inefficiencies. Develop and implement corrective actions to improve organizational effectiveness and ensure program goals are achieved.
- Develop and execute organizational policies, business implementation plans, and internal controls. Ensure operations remain compliant and effective by staying current with DoD and Agency directives.
