To qualify at the GG-15, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as:
Experience managing administrative and business management services to support organizational missions, manpower planning, personnel management, or human capital management.

- Manages all administrative and business management services essential to the operation of the directorate’s information management mission.
- Responsible for management and program analysis, space management, manpower, and personnel management.
- Responsible for Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations, and Continual Service Improvement as it relates to optimizing the efficiency of the Directorate and its use of human capital
- Participates in reviews to determine program status and works directly with engineering, testing, installation, financial working groups, to ensure requirements for workforce milestones are in compliance with statutes, DoD policy and instructions.
- Responsible for a $1M.5 training and $3M awards budget.

- In accordance with the DoD 8140 policy series, the position is subject to completing Foundational Qualifications in 9 months and completing Residential Qualification requirements overall in 12 months.

- Must have/obtain Program Management Advanced Certification (or be eligible for certification within 48 months of appointment) in the DAWIA Program Management Functional Area.

- This position is subject to completion of 1 year probationary period for assignment to a supervisory position.
- Accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.

- Program Management Advanced: Selectee must have their Program Management Advanced Certification (or be eligible for certification within 48 months of appointment) in the DAWIA Program Management Functional Area. Acquisition workforce employees must achieve 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two years, in accordance with DoDI 5000.66. Obtaining certification within the allotted grace period and maintaining CLPs before and after achieving certification are conditions of employment. If certification is not received within 48 months of appointment as defined by DAWIA, and training not completed within the established guidelines, the incumbent might be removed from this position.
