- Performs information technology (IT) customer support focusing and synchronizing DISA and customer efforts to achieve mission goals and increase operational effectiveness.
- Works with the customer to identify customer requirements based on analysis of business needs and practices.
- Assist in analyzing functional requirements and utilizes entry level knowledge of operating systems, applications software, and IT policies/procedures to assist in developing viable IT solutions and alternatives.
- Assist in the review of customer requirement documents and other requests for proposals to specify all technical requirements and concerns are made known to the directorate's engineering staff as appropriate.
- Shadows the project team leader, mentor, and advisor to support team members with project oversight and coordination efforts with other information systems professionals and technical personnel.
