About Defense Industry Intelligence (DII)
Defense Industry Intelligence (DII) is an independent platform focused on defence, aerospace, security, and geopolitical developments. Through market intelligence, industry analysis, and event coverage, DII provides insights into the trends shaping the global defence sector.
We are currently seeking motivated and intellectually curious Research Interns to support our growing research and analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor global defence, aerospace, and security developments
* Track military modernization programs, procurement activities, and defence contracts
* Conduct research on defence companies, technologies, and market trends
* Monitor government announcements, policy developments, and industry reports
* Support the preparation of analytical briefings and market intelligence reports
* Gather and organize open-source intelligence (OSINT)
* Assist with content development for DII publications and professional social media channels
* Track major international defence exhibitions, conferences, and industry events
Preferred Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in:
* International Relations
* Political Science
* Security Studies
* Defence Studies
* Aerospace Engineering
* Industrial Engineering
* Economics
* Journalism
* Or a related discipline
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Excellent written English
* Ability to identify credible sources and verify information
* Interest in defence, aerospace, security, technology, and geopolitics
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
* Familiarity with LinkedIn, Google Workspace, and online research tools is a plus
