This position is located at Womack Army Medical Center, Department of Medicine, Ft. Bragg, NC.

Responsibilities

As a Physician (Cardiology-Non-Invasive) you will:
- Evaluate patients utilizing laboratory and clinical findings to determine appropriate treatment or referral to a specialty clinic.
- Provides ongoing care for chronic diseases and complications of these diseases such as, valvular heart disease, ischemic heart disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, and arrhythmia.
- Exercise independent judgment in the selection and performance of a full range of diagnostic procedures for patients.
- Collaborate with specialists in other subspecialties or cases with complex and multifaceted problems.
- Supervise medical students, interns, and residents as they provide medical care to patients in the Cardiology clinic.

Board Certified
Candidates must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy from a school in the United States or Canada approved by a recognized accrediting body in the year of the applicants graduation. [A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school that provided education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the United States may be demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) (or a fifth pathway certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the United States and graduate education in a foreign country).
Salary : $200,000 - $400,000
