This position is located within the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) at Fort Drum, New York.

Guthrie Army Health Center is situated in Fort Drum, near the city of Watertown, which provides access to museums, historic points of interest, and quaint downtown shopping areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, clinical interviews, and psychosocial assessments of children and adults.
- Use specialized skills and training to interview victims, offenders, children, and family members regarding allegations of abuse or neglect.
- Assess individual or family risk levels and potential for lethality using professional instruments and techniques.
- Obtain relevant data from legal, medical, command, social service agencies, schools, and other organizations.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
- One year of specialized experience in a family advocacy environment, assessing incidents of abuse, providing counseling, conducting risk assessments, and developing treatment plans.
- Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently.
- Two years of experience working in the field of child abuse and domestic abuse.
