Role Description
This is a full-time off-site role for a Fire Alarm Technician, based in Richardson, TX. The Fire Alarm Technician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems to ensure life safety and regulatory compliance. The role also involves performing inspections, addressing system malfunctions, collaborating with clients to explain system operation, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Low Voltage Engineering and understanding system components.
- Strong Troubleshooting skills for resolving technical and operational issues effectively.
- Experience with Alarm Systems and Life Safety protocols.
- Excellent Customer Service skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to clients.
- Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations in fire alarm systems installation and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in fire alarm systems and life safety systems are preferred.
