What You’ll Do:
Munchkin’s Packaging Engineer Internship Program is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to a career in the consumer products industry. We are currently looking for our next all-star intern for Spring 2026. You will be working full-time hours and the position will last between 10-12 weeks.
How you will contribute:
- Development of innovative retail packaging solutions, corrugated displays, & protective/supportive package inserts for a variety of consumer goods
- Interpret and transform sketches into 2D dielines using current CAD software
- Generate detailed package material specification sheets for cost estimation
- Debug files prior to release to production & graphic teams
- Assist in daily cutting, folding, and assembly of package dielines and preparation of package concepts for marketing and sales presentations
You will have:
- Creative thinker with an enthusiastic "team player" attitude
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a strict attention to detail
- Should possess a working knowledge of materials and processes used in package development, evaluation, and manufacturing
- Experienced in developing 2D package dielines using current CAD software
- Familiar with the operation of Kongsberg cutting tables
- Familiar with 3-D modeling using Solidworks
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator
