Description:Pro-Fee Multispecialty Medical Coder/Editor (Temporary - Potential to Convert Permanent)We are seeking an experienced Pro-Fee Medical Coder with strong multispecialty coding and editing expertise. This is a remote opportunity open to U.S.-based applicants only.Position OverviewThe ideal candidate will have extensive professional fee (pro-fee) hospital coding experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You will be responsible for accurately coding and editing provider charges across multiple specialties while maintaining high productivity and quality standards.Requirements:Requirement DetailsActive certification: AAPC CPC or AHIMA CCS, RHIT, or RHIA Minimum 3 years of pro-fee hospital coding experience, including editingSpecialty Experience: OB-GYN, Gastroenterology (GI), Urology, General Surgery, & Internal MedicineProven ability to maintain a quality score of 98% or higher Productivity standards: 12 charts per hour for coding - 15 charts per hour for editing Hands-on experience with EPIC Strong comfort level with technology, including MS Office, Microsoft Teams, and VPN Ability to successfully pass pro-fee coding assessment(s) Work Schedule: All hours must be worked Monday–Friday between 6:00 AM–6:00 PM PST (9:00 AM–9:00 PM EST) Flexibility within these hours is allowed Employment DetailsPreference for full-time candidates Will consider part-time candidates with a minimum availability of 20 hours per week Expected duration: Approximately 2 months with opportunity to convert to a permanent role based on performance and business needs Why Join Us?Remote work flexibility within defined hours Opportunity to work across multiple specialties Potential pathway to a long-term role with a respected organization
