Job Summary
Grande Cheese Company is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking Maintenance Reliability Manager to help launch and lead operations at our new, state-of-the-art facility in Chilton. As a start-up facility, this role offers a unique opportunity to build systems from the ground up, shape the culture, and drive long-term performance and innovation. You’ll lead the development and execution of our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) strategy, drawing on your proven experience implementing TPM frameworks to maximize equipment reliability and asset performance. With a strong Lean Manufacturing mindset, you’ll use statistical data analysis to guide decisions, eliminate downtime, and foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement across the plant.
What you need to be considered for the role:
- 4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field is desired. An equivalent level of experience may be considered.
- 7 years of experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial setting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
- Experience in a shared plant environment or similar, where prioritization and effective resource allocation are essential.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methods, reliability engineering, and best practices.
- Proficiency in CMMS software for scheduling, tracking, and reporting maintenance activities.
- Understanding lean manufacturing principles, TPM, and root cause analysis tools.
- Ability to spend approximately 50% of time on floor and 50% performing administrative duties.
- CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) preferred.
- Knowledge of Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) philosophies and their practical application in manufacturing or operations environments is preferred.
