What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant position at Default (All-EOS Job Aggregator)?
PURPOSE:
Room attendants are responsible for cleaning and properly preparing guest room, spa and public areas, ensuring the highest stands of quality for our guests. thisposition is also responsible for reporting any maintenance deificiencies and handling guest requests or complaintsin a professional and courteous manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Keep the guest rooms clean and tidy
- Restock guest room supplies and amenities.
- Maintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guests.
- Accommodate guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Develop the ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
- Regularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings
- Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests in the hotel that require attention
- Comply with LASR attendance policy.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform additional functions according to the needs of the spa and as assigned by the supervisor. These responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Assisting the laundry staff
- Reports and documents any observed safety hazards and engineering issues
