Pool Attendant

Ocean Grove RV Resort in St. Augustine, is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as a full-time Pool Attendant. Work schedule includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including holidays. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable experience for all guests. Pool Attendant will oversee pool activities to ensure pool policies and safety guidelines are followed, assisting guests, and maintaining cleanliness. This is NOT a lifeguard position. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Safety & Supervision:
  
  • Distributing wristbands and continuously monitoring the pool deck verifying pool access for guests
  • Ensure guests adhere to all standard operating procedures, including all posted rules and preventing outside food and beverages from being brought into the pool area.
  • Enforce all safety rules and guidelines to prevent accidents or unsafe behavior.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly attitude while interacting with guests, addressing their questions and concerns.
  • Close the pool immediately in the event of a contamination and notify management.
    
    
• Park Cleanliness & Maintenance:
  • Conduct routine inspections of the pool area and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
  • Ensure the pool area is free of litter, trash, and debris.
  • Clean clubhouse and surrounding common areas as needed.
  • Ensure pool area bathrooms are clean, stocked with supplies, and free of standing water.
  • Straighten pool furniture regularly, ensuring it is clean and in working order at all times.
  • Ensure pool equipment is properly stored and organized.
    
    
• Safety & Equipment Maintenance:
  • Ensure safety equipment is present and in working order.
  • Check first aid kit daily for needed supplies.
    
    
• Operational Support:
  • Respond quickly and professionally to guest concerns or minor incidents.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to uphold safety and guest satisfaction.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Able to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday, including holidays.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or recreation is a plus.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Requires physical stamina for long periods of standing, walking, and lifting.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform moderate physical activity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional, and safety-conscious demeanor.

This is a full-time, position working at Ocean Grove RV Resort, St. Augustine.
