Job Summary
Tranquility Bay Beachfront Resort in Marathon, Florida is seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen during busy service periods.
The ideal candidate has previous restaurant or resort kitchen experience, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering great food and supporting the kitchen team.
Responsibilities

Set up and maintain assigned line or prep station for lunch and dinner service

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards

Ensure food is cooked to order with consistent presentation and portioning

Prepare ingredients and assist with daily food production and prep

Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment

Follow all food safety and sanitation standards

Assist with inventory organization and reducing food waste

Support team members to maintain smooth kitchen operations during busy shifts
Qualifications

1 year of experience as a Line Cook, Cook, or Prep Cook

Restaurant, hotel, or resort kitchen experience preferred

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Attention to detail and commitment to food quality

Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Spanish-speaking skills are a plus
