What are the responsibilities and job description for the Houseperson - AM & PM position at Default (All-EOS Job Aggregator)?
Job Responsibilities
- Assist Housekeeping Team with stripping linens from rooms
- Clean furnishings and carpets
- Clean and maintain common areas
-Replenish supplies in guest rooms and storage areas
-Ensure all service closets are clean and fully stocked
-Assist housekeeping staff with laundry including washing, drying and folding when necessary
-Clean, maintain and store all cleaning equipment
-Move, lift, carry push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds without assistance. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping. Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
-Complete daily/weekly deep cleaning projects
-Empty all department trash
-Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
-Deliver guest requests and setup furniture items in guest rooms as requested
-Support the Bethany Beach team to reach common goals
-Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
- Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
