Position Overview:
As a Housekeeper at the Sanderling Resort, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms, common areas, and other resort facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and resort spaces according to the hotel’s Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.P.s).
- Promptly respond to guest requests, ensuring satisfaction and a positive experience.
- Maintain adequate supplies, linen, and materials, keeping inventory and replenishing when necessary.
- Safeguard and manage any assigned keys throughout the shift.
- Adhere to proper handling of cleaning supplies to ensure safety and prevent damage to hotel property.
- Notify the supervisor of any maintenance issues or special requests.
- Assist in preventive cleaning programs and other special assignments as required.
Position Requirements:
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is a plus but optional.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
