Position Summary
The Food Runner ensures every dish is delivered with precision, elegance, and urgency while upholding presentation standards set by Chef Jeremy Ford. This role is key in maintaining the seamless flow of service that defines a world-class dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver dishes promptly while describing key elements with confidence and accuracy
- Uphold plating integrity; ensure dishes arrive exactly as the chef intends
- Communicate continuously with kitchen and service teams
- Maintain spotless pass and service stations
- Support pacing of courses and table timing consistent with Michelin-level execution
- Anticipate guest needs with refined awareness and discretion
Qualifications
- Prior experience in elevated dining preferred
- Strong communication and sense of urgency
- Passion for culinary excellence and guest experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk 8-10 hours per shift
- Ability to carry and lift 30-40 lbs safety (food trays, service equipment, etc.)
- Frequent bending, reaching, and fast-paced movement in tight spaces
- Ability to maintain focus in high-heat environments near the kitchen
