Are you an early riser with a passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences? Ocean Restaurant, located at the luxurious Cape Arundel Inn in beautiful Kennebunkport, Maine, is seeking a personable and dedicated part-time Breakfast Server to join our front-of-house team.
As a Breakfast Server, you’ll be the first friendly face our guests see each morning, providing attentive, high-quality service in a serene oceanfront setting. Ideal candidates are reliable, professional, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Must know how to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion
- Needs to work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused with constant interruptions
- Understanding of hotel restaurant operations; food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management as it pertains to the selling of food and beverages
- Responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels for all events
- Continually strive for sales growth by having ongoing knowledge of all current menus
- Be perceptive, proactive, and engaging. Anticipate your guest’s needs
- Set the tone for success with a positive attitude and sincere enthusiasm
- Engaging in clear, consistent communications with leadership and restaurant staff
- Ensure that each customer is served efficiently and effectively
- Be a good example while working alongside team members
