Field Service Technician

Paid training to be certified within these units is provided and preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Bring your own tools
- Diagnostic/troubleshooting electrical systems, brake systems, engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems ( jobs will be based on your skill level)
- Diagnose with scanners and diagnostic programs
- Light/Medium/Heavy duty repair (available, not preferred)
- Maintain an operating parts stock
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Responsible for truck stock, truck appearance and communicating any truck issues.
- Fabricating & installations (preferred not required)
- Fill out daily detailed work orders
- Diesel/Gas/Propane engine familiarity and experience preferred.
Qualifications:
- Diesel repair experience
- Propane repair experience
- Gas repair experience
- Trouble shooting and diagnostic experience
- Must be punctual, personal and pay attention to details
- Must be able to work as a team player
- Good written and verbal skills
- Valid NJ drivers license
- CDL a plus but not required
- Certifications (a plus, not required)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
