Role Description The Front Desk Concierge is a full-time, on-site position based in Bismarck, ND. This role is responsible for greeting patients, checking them in and out, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival to departure. Daily responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, managing patient inquiries, and coordinating with clinical staff to maintain an efficient schedule. The Front Desk Concierge also handles patient registration, verifies basic information, collects payments, and explains office policies and procedures in a clear and friendly manner. This position supports a high standard of customer service, maintains a tidy and organized reception area, and assists with other administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Concierge Services and Customer Service, with a commitment to creating a welcoming, patient-centered experience.
- Experience with Receptionist Duties and Reservations, including appointment scheduling, phone management, and front desk coordination.
- Clear and professional Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort working with scheduling or practice management software.
- High level of reliability, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Prior experience in a dental or medical office, hospitality, or front desk setting is preferred but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in customer service, administration, or healthcare is a plus.
