Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team in a high volume private bar environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, providing attentive customer service, handling membership dues, and preparing and serving beverages. Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wine.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area.
- Manage cash using a point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash with accuracy and integrity.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Work closely with other team members to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
- Participate in special events, as needed.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of beverages, ingredients, and recipes.
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate orders and transactions.
- Provide help and support to customers and colleagues as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a related field is highly desirable.
- Experience with POS systems and basic math calculations is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills are necessary.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
