This position is located at Deer Lodge Medical Center in Deer Lodge, Montana. Come join our team! Looking for a full-time facilities specialist with commercial/hospital experience. Must be proficient in at least one trade but knowledge of multiple trades a plus. Low pressure Boilers License preferred. Must be able to troubleshoot and have strong communication skills. Willing to work after hours/weekends as needed. Ability to learn new trades and professionalism a plus! Very busy department with a great working environment!
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school (minimum).
· Low pressure boilers license (preferred)
· 3 years’ experience of mechanical and electrical maintenance
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ongoing maintenance tasks as directed by facility work order system.
2. Maintain facility oxygen supply.
3. Complete facility carpentry jobs.
4. Perform mechanical jobs as needed.
5. Test of equipment as needed.
6. Responsible for snow removal on facility grounds.
7. Maintain and clean grounds.
8. Maintain electrical service throughout facility.
9. Maintain plumbing throughout facility.
10. Accept, distribute and unpack freight.
11. Maintain facility trash management / disposal.
12. Work with contractors performing work on facility or grounds.
13. Communicate with facility staff regarding projects throughout facility/grounds to minimize workflow disruptions and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
14. Perform all other related duties as assigned by Facilities manager.
