What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deer Lakes School District - 4-Hour General Food Service Position (Middle School) position at DEER LAKES SCHOOL DISTRICT?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience working within a school district cafeteria for a minimum of 60 days.
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of high quantity of food production required
- Working knowledge of Point of Sale System and electronic cash register.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn general financial reporting procedures.
- Fundamental level of experience with MS Office software programs, including Word and Excel.
- Ability to follow food recipes for high quantity production
- Ability to properly utilize leftovers
- Excellent organization skills, initiative, and an ability to work with limited supervision.
- Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative, and responsible.
- Ability and experience working as a member or a team.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Director of Food Services may find appropriate and acceptable.
