What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grade 3 Teacher - Long Term Substitute position at Deer Hill School?
This is a long-term substitute position starting August 25, 2026 – January 19, 2027.
The duties commonly associated with the position include but are not limited to:
•Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of curriculum content
•Planning, assessment, and implementation of effective instruction
•Promoting high standards and expectations for student achievement
•Effective communication with students, families, and district employees
•Promoting equity and appreciation of diversity
•Knowledge of school wide curriculum materials preferred, such as Fundations, Bridges Math, Units of Study/Readers Workshop, and Responsive Classroom
•Familiarity with educational technology
