Position Purpose
The Antler Care Director provides leadership, oversight, and management for all district before/after school care programs (Antler Care) and the employee daycare program. This position ensures high-quality programming, appropriate staffing, financial accountability, and positive communication with families and staff. The Director supervises two Assistant Directors and the Daycare Supervisor to maintain smooth operations across all sites.

Essential Functions
- Directly supervises Assistant Directors and the Daycare Supervisor, supporting them in managing daily operations, staffing, and program development.
- Provides evaluation, coaching, and annual performance reviews for Assistant Directors and the Daycare Supervisor.
- Ensures staff issues are addressed promptly and fairly.
- Conducts regular site visits to ensure daycare quality, safety, and compliance with district expectations and all state requirements.
- Maintains accurate staffing schedules for all programs, adjusting as needed to ensure ratios and coverage.
- Leads hiring, onboarding, and training for Antler Care staff.
- Manages all enrollment processes for before/after & daycare programs.
- Processes purchase orders, ensures invoices are submitted and paid, and handles ordering of program supplies.
- Maintains accurate records of enrollments, staffing, and financial transactions.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Uses standard office equipment, including personal computers, copiers, and district software systems.
- Regular travel between school sites and the Education Services Center is required.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple programs and staff.
- Competence in financial management, including purchase orders, invoices, and budget tracking.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, parents, and district administration.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices in school-age care and early childhood care.
- Bachelor's degree in education, child development, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior supervisory experience in childcare, school programs, or related fields preferred.
- Equivalent education and experience may be considered.
