What are the responsibilities and job description for the Doggie Daycare Attendant position at Deer Creek Doggie Day Camp?

We are looking for a highly motivated, dog-loving individual who is ready to learn some new skills and help us grow in this permanent position. Qualified candidates must be available at up to 4 days per week. Our hours are 6:30am to 7pm Monday-Friday. We are closed on weekends, but we do host a couple weekend special events throughout the year that require help.
You must be comfortable around a variety of sizes and breeds of dogs, working outside and inside in a variety of weather conditions, be able to lift 50# unassisted, be willing to stand on your feet most of the shift, and interact freely with the dogs, including but not limited to assisting with feeding, clean up, bathing and dispensing medications.

- a desire to grow, learn, and pursue in-depth education on dog behavior and training
We are looking for candidates with a high school diploma or equivalency, no less than 2 years of trained volunteer or professional dog handling experience, who are willing to work hard and not be afraid to get a little dirty every day. This is a permanent position, 20-35 hours a week to begin.
This is an excellent position to advance, with potential for management advancement for the right candidate. Pay begins at $15/hour for aides and more with previous dog day care experience.
