Field Service Technician

Job Description:
Deepwell Equipment Rentals is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team.
**Based in Rayne, LA & Pecos/ Midland, TX**
Pay and Benefits:
Full Time - Overtime as Needed
10-12/ Hour Shifts (40 hours a week, Overtime available)
Pay frequency: Weekly.
Pay based on experience, starting at $18.00 hr.

Possible Schedule/ Shifts: _Monday through Sunday (varies depending on work), dayshift or nightshift.

Job Summary:
Delivers and sets up equipment at all job locations, including water systems, sewer systems, satellite television, generators, and light plants. Completes electrical service tie-in to rig or generator power. Break down, load, and reset rig-site equipment during rig movement. Retrieves all equipment from job locations that have stopped renting.

Install and replace home appliances, furniture, and equipment, as necessary. Responds to all service calls. Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrate proficiency in accurately and efficiently diagnosing and repairing mechanical problems.
Show track record of performing Preventive Maintenance (PM).
Demonstrate customer service skills.
Read, write, and speak English (work orders, manuals, etc.). Bilingual skills are a plus
Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Use intermediate computer skills, including engine-specific software, Internet Explorer, and Outlook.
Complete and submit company-required documentation in an accurate and timely fashion.
Respond to after-hours requests regularly on an on-call basis.
Perform all essential duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain hand/power tools and equipment to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
• Assist in preparing material lists, preparing job records, and maintaining supplies and tools.
• Complies with the requirements of all relevant company/customer HSE handbooks, HSE procedures, and emergency procedures.
• Maintains a professional appearance and communication style in dealing with customers and co-workers
• Commit to long hours of work, when necessary, to reach goals.

Completes work order on-site prior to customer billing.
Presents paperwork to the Rig Site Manager on duty for signature.
Always communicate and work professionally with co-workers and rig site personnel.
Prepare and/or participate in job safety meetings (JSA) prior to the start of an assigned task or project.
Responsible for the preventative maintenance of the assigned vehicle and equipment.
These responsibilities are not all-inclusive; other job duties will be assigned as needed.
Requirements:
1 years of experience as a Field Service Technician is preferred.
CDL Class A is a plus.
Clean MVR and Background
Pass a Physical Examination and Drug Screen.
Ability to communicate and follow specific instructions clearly, courteously, and efficiently.

Wage Range: 18.00 - 18.00 per hour
