O-DU/CU development Sr. Technical PM

DeepSig Inc. is a venture backed and product centric technology startup building revolutionary wireless processing software solutions using cutting edge machine learning techniques to transform baseband processing, wireless sensing, and other key wireless applications.

We are currently looking for a DU/CU Development Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead and coordinate the full lifecycle of wireless network product initiatives. In this role, you will oversee planning, execution, and delivery while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams, product management, and external partners to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program Leadership: Direct all stages of RAN product development, from requirements gathering, system design, development, testing, and deployment, to integration and post-launch support.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Serve as the bridge between engineering (ML development, software integration), product management and external development partners to clarify project scope, technical dependencies, and critical deliverables.
  • Technical Execution & Risk Management: Guide the technical roadmap, architecture reviews, and risk assessments for new 4G/5G RAN features and hardware to ensure robust, testable, and scalable products.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement: Provide progress updates and technical reports to senior management and business stakeholders, escalating risks and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in RAN/wireless network product or system development, with previous development program leadership
  • 5 years of experience from Tier-1 OEM or US MNO.
  • Proficiency in DU and CU product development management, technical architecture, and the commercial/regulatory context of wireless systems.
  • 6G AI/ML RAN research experience is highly desirable
  • Massive MIMO development experience is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
  • Experience with 5G NR systems, protocols, and test/validation approaches.
  • Hands-on experience with 3GPP Release 17 implementation and validation.
  • Open-source development experience is highly desirable.

Example Duties and Deliverables

  • Plan and manage multiple simultaneous development programs for DU, CU hardware and software releases.
  • Facilitate cross-functional meetings for requirements, architecture, release scoping, and post-mortems.
  • Track and resolve program risks -technical, resource, schedule -through proactive mitigation.
  • Oversee development sprints, enforce quality gates, and track product validation and certification efforts.
  • Manage vendor or third-party interactions as needed for platform integration or supply chain.
  • Deliver program documentation, status dashboards, and regulatory submission materials as required.
