💻 The Role

As a Senior Platform Engineer, you’ll help design and build the core systems that underpin a modern AI platform. This is a hands-on role focused on scalable backend services, infrastructure, and reliability, working closely with a strong engineering team on technically challenging problems.

⚙️ What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, build, and scale backend services within a distributed architecture
• Write clean, efficient, and production-ready code
• Contribute to system design, architecture, and technical decision-making
• Improve platform reliability, observability, and performance
• Collaborate across engineering to deliver features end-to-end
• Participate in code reviews and support live systems when needed

✅ What We’re Looking For

• 6 years of backend or platform engineering experience
• Proven experience building and scaling generative AI applications in production
• Strong proficiency in Python (plus TypeScript or Java)
• Experience with a compiled language such as Go or Rust
• Solid understanding of microservices and API-driven architectures
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus infrastructure as code (Terraform)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and monitoring tools
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
• Able to work hybrid (3 days/week in Palo Alto)

• Strong exposure to GCP
• Familiarity with frontend technologies
• Experience in regulated or complex domains (e.g. healthcare, fintech)
