Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Associate Therapist (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC) to join our growing team. This role is ideal for associates working toward licensure who want to gain diverse clinical experience, receive high-quality supervision, and be part of a values-driven practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, and/or family therapy (in-person and/or via telehealth)
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, etc.)
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and participate in regular case consultations
- Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and BBS guidelines
- Attend team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions as required
- Prepares intake summaries, treatment plans, and maintains ongoing confidential records.
- Reports safety concerns to mandated reporting agencies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Registered and in good standing with the BBS as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC
- Strong interpersonal, clinical, and communication skills
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in clinical practice
- Availability to carry a minimum caseload of 20 clients per week (depending on full-time/part-time status)
- Must have access to a confidential space and reliable internet connection if providing telehealth
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual
- Experience with specific populations (e.g., LGBTQIA , Neurodivergent affirming, BIPOC communities, trauma survivors, children/teens, etc.)
- Familiarity with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
