Senior Java Developer | Banking & Financial Services

Introduction:

We are seeking highly experienced Senior Java Developers with expertise in Java development, DevOps, cloud technologies, and modern data/cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-scale applications within the banking and financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Java applications for banking and financial services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Lead and mentor junior developers in best practices and coding standards
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions
• Implement DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery
• Utilize cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure for scalable and reliable solutions
• Build and deploy microservices and REST APIs using Spring Boot
• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration
• Perform production support and troubleshooting as needed
• Follow Agile/Scrum development methodology for project deliveries

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• 15 years of overall IT/software development experience
• Strong Java / J2EE development skills
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot frameworks
• Proficiency in Microservices & REST APIs
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Databricks
• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for containerization
• Cloud-native application development expertise
• Strong understanding of SQL & database technologies
• Proficient in Git / GitHub for version control
• Experience with Jenkins / Azure DevOps for automation
• Ability to provide production support and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience in the banking and financial services industry
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance
• Experience with REST API development and integration
• Understanding of cloud technologies and architecture
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for continuous integration and delivery
