Chemical Technician – Zelienople, PA
Location: Appalachia Basin
Compensation: $24.00 – $29.00 per hour DOE
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Chemical Foreman
Direct Reports: None
Travel Requirements: 50–75% travel to completions locations and other basins (Appalachia, Bakken, Rockies, potentially Permian and Haynesville)
Schedule: Rotational – 3 weeks on, 1 week off; extended hours, nights, and weekends may be required
Position Summary
The BoreSite Chemical Technician is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Chem Inject units in the field, both on-site and remotely. This includes calibrating flow meters, assembling and setting up skids, and installing BoreSite Edge equipment. The role supports field operations through system troubleshooting, technical guidance, and training for field personnel while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Education & Experience
- GED or High School Diploma required
- Minimum 2 years of oil and gas-related field experience; chemical experience preferred
- Ability to operate a company vehicle and maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to work rotational schedule: 3 weeks on, 1 week off
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to rig up chemical skids
- Basic troubleshooting and electrical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independently
- Ability to safely work in field conditions and adapt to changing operational needs
