Working primarily in small teams of 2 technicians, these professionals operate under the guidance of project managers or supervisors, often independently at client sites. This position requires travel with company vehicle and offers opportunities to grow technical skills within the water mitigation field.
Responsibilities
- Perform water extraction to remove standing water and debris from affected areas
- Set up and monitor drying equipment to ensure effective moisture removal
- Conduct moisture assessments to evaluate damage and drying progress
- Conduct demolition of affected drywall, flooring, etc
- Maintain and troubleshoot water mitigation equipment
- Comply with all safety regulations during mitigation operations
- Respond promptly to emergency water damage situations
- Document work activities and moisture readings accurately
- Interact professionally with customers and provide clear communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with water extraction techniques
- Proficiency in operating various drying equipment
- Strong understanding of safety compliance standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Must pass Motor Vehicle Report
