As a Caregiver with Deep Springs, you will step into a role where your compassion transforms lives — and your own calling is honored as you enhance the quality of life for those you serve, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in client's temporary or permanent residence.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist with medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the living space of clients.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities through direct support services.
- Implement care plans tailored to each client's needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy at all times.
Skills
- Experience in home community care or working in group homes is preferred.
- Certification in CPR is desirable but not required.
- Familiarity with caring for older adults, adults with disabilities and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, and their families.
- A clean background check is required to ensure the safety of those under your care.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to serve others and help improve their quality of life.
