Sales Associate – Wholesale & National Account (Hunter Role)
📍 Boca Raton, FL (On-Site / Hybrid)
Deep Sea Atlantic North America is a vertically integrated seafood importer and producer with direct operations in Mexico and Suriname. We are not a distributor — we control our supply chain from harvest to delivery.
We supply premium Caribbean and Atlantic seafood across North America and are expanding aggressively into national retail chains with a new line of retail-ready products.
This role is for a true hunter — someone who can build a book of business from scratch, open doors with buyers, and close volume.
What You’ll Do (Non-Negotiable):
Win New Business:
- Identify, pursue, and close new wholesale and retail accounts
- Get in front of buyers at distributors, foodservice groups, and national grocery chains
- Sell both commodity seafood volume and retail programs
Build Your Pipeline:
- Cold call, email, visit, and network — daily
- Leverage trade shows, industry contacts, and referrals
- No pre-built lead lists — you are responsible for your pipeline
Drive Revenue
- Own your numbers — this is a performance-driven role
- Scale accounts into consistent volume
- Turn opportunities into long-term revenue streams
What This Role Is NOT
- Not an order-taking or account maintenance role
- Not a role with inbound leads handed to you
- Not for someone who needs structure or constant direction
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record of generating and closing new business
- Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection
- Experience in seafood, food distribution, or retail sales is a plus
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-driven, competitive, and results-oriented
Compensation
- Base: $60,000 – $110,000 (based on experience)
- Aggressive performance-based bonus structure
- Earning potential: $150,000 – $200,000
