Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and performing the maintenance and repair activities that keep our campground safe, clean, and fully operational. This position is essential to ensuring a positive guest experience and the smooth day‑to‑day functioning of the property.
Key Responsibilities
Property Maintenance & Upkeep
- Work closely with management to maintain a clean, safe, and appealing campground environment.
- Maintain grounds and common areas, keeping them clean, free of trash, debris, and hazards.
- Mow, weed, edge, and maintain landscaping in common areas and vacant lots.
- Conduct minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair work.
- Move heavy objects and operate maintenance vehicles, tractors, and equipment as needed.
Communication & Coordination
- Attend staff meetings to communicate scheduled vendor appointments and required maintenance tasks.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with management and staff.
- Collaborate on special projects and assist with property improvements.
Operational Support
- Report maintenance concerns directly to management and complete assigned repairs promptly.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials.
- Perform other maintenance‑related duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience Needed
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 1 years of hands‑on technical experience in areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, or general maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely operate heavy equipment, outdoor machinery, and power tools
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
- Willingness to be on call for after‑hours emergencies
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $9.00 – $12.00
Compensation is an estimate and not guaranteed. Final offers will vary based on education, experience, skills, and abilities.
