Sanitation Supervisor for Food Plant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to oversee and manage the cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial cleaning, hospitality, and housekeeping management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to ensure that all sanitation practices meet health and safety regulations while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the sanitation team to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
• Develop and implement sanitation procedures and protocols in compliance with health regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to sanitation standards.
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment usage, and safety procedures.
• Oversee the laundering of linens and other materials as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules without disrupting operations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are adequately stocked.
• Address any sanitation-related issues or complaints promptly and effectively.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques.
• Proven experience in managing teams, with excellent supervisory skills.
• Background in hospitality or custodial services is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
