Job Summary
The Mobile Detail Technician is responsible for providing on-site professional detailing services while maintaining strict company standards for quality, safety, and customer service. This position involves traveling to client locations, handling advanced detailing tasks, and ensuring each vehicle is completed to a showroom-ready finish. Technicians must present themselves professionally, follow company policies, and uphold confidentiality and property-care expectations.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDetailing & Vehicle Care
- Perform comprehensive interior and exterior detailing, including vacuuming, stain removal, steam cleaning, engine bay cleaning, shampoo extraction, clay bar, polishing, and waxing.
- Execute advanced procedures such as 1-step/2-step paint correction, headlight restoration, leather treatment, odor removal, and more.
- Operate buffers, extractors, pressure washers, and other professional equipment safely and correctly.
- Ensure all tools, chemicals, and company vehicles are maintained, cleaned, and stored properly.
Client Communication & Service
- Provide high-quality customer service, answer questions professionally, and handle client vehicles with care.
- Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times, ensuring customer satisfaction before leaving any job site.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow all company safety protocols, chemical handling procedures, and operational guidelines.
- Adhere to Deep Clean Mobile's quality-control standards, performance expectations, and brand presentation requirements.
- Report any vehicle issues, damages, or concerns immediately to management.
Position Requirements
- Prior experience in auto detailing, car wash services, custodial/janitorial work, or paint correction is strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks such as buffing, stain removal, polishing, and interior restoration with consistency and workmanship.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between sites as needed.
- Good physical stamina for bending, lifting, and extended periods of hands-on work.
- Ability to work independently, follow company policies, and meet performance expectations.
- Professional appearance and punctuality are mandatory.
