What are the responsibilities and job description for the Midstream Regulatory Analyst position at Deep Blue?
The Midstream Regulatory Analyst supports compliance and regulatory activities for the entirety of Deep Blue’s Operations. This role assists with filings, provides analytical support, and task management to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations of regulatory risk through awareness and communication to the greater team. Position will have the opportunity to grow skill set in the regulatory and environmental realms.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and validate operational data for regulatory submissions.
- Support audits and inspections by regulatory bodies.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Monitor and interpret regulations from agencies
- Assist in preparing and submitting forms including, but not limited to, W-1, W-2, GAU, W-15, SWR 13, CID, TCEQ Tier II, Environmental EP 1, EP2, EP 3 and Waste Management WH-3, EP-9, EP-10 report.
- Participate in webinars and training from RRC and TCEQ
- Maintain compliance tracking systems and generate periodic reports
Risk Management:
- Identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay informed on regulatory changes and assess their impact on midstream operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience with compliance audits and regulatory reporting systems.
- 1 year of Permian Basin specific experience
- Willingness to learn new skill set and forms
