Summary/Objective
The customer service representative is responsible for answering in-bound calls and providing superior customer service to all customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the customer service department.
Essential Functions
- Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
- Processes customer orders/changes/returns according to established department policies and procedures.
- Provides timely feedback to the company regarding customer concerns.
- Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Strong listening and problem-solving abilities to understand and address customer needs and concerns.
- Confidence, patience, tact, and diplomacy when dealing with challenging situations.
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma
- 3 Years of previous customer service experience
- Computer experience
Position Type, Salary, and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. The starting rate is between $17.50 and $19.00 per hour. It will depend on experience and length of time at previous employment. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:45 am to 4:45 pm.
