Position Summary:
The Restaurant Server is responsible for delivering outstanding service by ensuring guests are greeted, seated, and attended to promptly and courteously. This role includes taking orders, serving food and beverages, managing to-go orders, processing payments, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Present menus, provide detailed information about menu items, and make recommendations as needed
- Accurately record and enter orders into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently
- Manage and package to-go orders with care and accuracy
- Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions in accordance with company policies
- Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a tidy and inviting dining environment
- Collaborate with team members and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Uphold restaurant standards for quality, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Prior serving or hospitality experience preferred; training available for the right candidate
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic math and POS system proficiency
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
