As a procurement engineer, you monitor order placement with suppliers in collaboration with the purchasing team; you monitor manufacturing and ensure compliance with delivery deadlines; you monitor stock management of program products; and you provide proposals for the evolution of its management. You manage the program indicators and carry out customer reporting in collaboration with the program's customer manager.
You are in contact and collaborate with the company's departments, from production to quality, including sales and the design office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Negotiate terms and deadlines with suppliers on certain families of purchases.
· Ensure the coordination of the physical flows of materials, products, and tools to satisfy the continuous and constant demands of the services of customers and suppliers.
· Estimate the quantities of products to order based on the state of stocks, flow forecasts, the periodicity of orders, and delivery times from suppliers.
· Ensure receipt of orders.
· Ensure compliance with specifications.
· Set up delivery schedules for suppliers.
· Knowledge of precisely the needs of the perimeter, their evolution, and their scheduling.
· Follow up on orders until delivery.
· Supervise any disputes.
· Continuously update the supplier database by integrating new market data.
· Be a force of proposal on the evolution of inventory management criteria: increase / decrease in breakage thresholds and launch quantity.
· Be a force for proposal on the stock management of new products or stop management on the stock of poorly sold references.
· You perform and keep up to date the program and supplier management indicators.
· You ensure customer reporting, both in terms of product delivery planning and activity reporting.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or industrial engineering.
· Minimum of 2-4 years of Purchasing-related experience or demonstrated Knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
· International trading and logistics.
· Bilingual (English-French or English-Spanish)
