What are the responsibilities and job description for the Welder/Metal Fabricator position at Dedicated Staffing?
Welder/Metal Fabricator is responsible for being proficient in metal fabrication and welding techniques, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in various environments. This role involves working with complex blueprints, operating heavy machinery and performing physically demanding tasks. This role requires a willingness to travel on site to customers’ locations as needed
Key Responsibilities:
· Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately interpret and follow complex blueprint drawings to determine the specifications and requirements for each project.
· Equipment Operation: Safely and effectively operate various types of equipment, including:
o MIG Welder (.035 – 1/16 wire)
o Handheld power tools (grinders, saws, drills, cutting equipment, and spray paint equipment)
o Drill Presses
o Overhead Cranes
o Forklifts
o Vertical Saws
· Work Environment: Perform tasks in confined spaces (e.g., inside a cylinder as small as 48” I.D.), which may involve extensive bending, kneeling, and lifting components.
1st Shift position - 4 - 10's Monday though Thursday or Tuesday though Friday
Pay rate is based off working knowledge: $25.00 to $33.00hr
