Job Description
Dedicated Panel Building is seeking a detail-oriented Panel Wiring Technician to join our growing team. Along with training this role involves assembling, wiring, and testing industrial electrical control panels in accordance with schematics, drawings, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate takes pride in high-quality workmanship, follows safety standards, and works well in a fast-paced shop environment.
Responsibilities
- Wire industrial control panels according to electrical schematics and layout drawings
- Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, relays, VFDs, terminal blocks, and power supplies
- Perform point-to-point wiring, labeling, and cable management
- Read and interpret electrical prints and BOMs
- Test panels for accuracy, continuity, and proper operation
- Troubleshoot wiring issues and make corrections as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety policies and quality standards
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to meet production deadlines
Qualifications
- Willingness to learn as you grow.
- Experience wiring control panel systems (Preferred, but not required. We are willing to train)
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics (Preferred, but not required. We are willing to train)
- Familiarity with basic electrical tools and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of hand tools
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus)
