AM Transportation Monitor

Tuesday-Saturday | 4:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Dedicated Logistics Partner (DLP) is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable AM Transportation Monitor to support our daily transportation operations. This role is ideal for someone with dispatch, logistics, transportation, or fleet coordination experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems in real time.
What You'll Do:
- Monitor delivery routes and driver activity to ensure on-time service
- Communicate with drivers regarding schedules, route updates, freight issues, and required paperwork
- Track shipments and delivery performance through our Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Assist with dispatch operations and route adjustments as needed
- Investigate and report service delays, delivery exceptions, and operational issues
- Maintain accurate transportation records and documentation
- Support customer service efforts by providing timely updates and resolving transportation concerns
- Work closely with operations leadership to ensure service expectations are met
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in dispatch, transportation, logistics coordination, fleet operations, or transportation administration
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions when necessary
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Experience with transportation software such as Geotab, Lytx, Nuvizz, Tvizz, Power BI, or other TMS platforms is a plus
