Role Description This is a full-time or part time, on-site Caregiver role based in Metro Phoenix, AZ. The Caregiver will support clients with non-medical activities of daily living, such as assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Responsibilities include light housekeeping, laundry, meal planning and preparation, and helping with errands or transportation as needed. The Caregiver will provide companionship, engage clients in conversation and simple activities, and observe and report changes in client condition to supervisors or family members. The role also involves following care plans, respecting client preferences, maintaining safety in the home, and documenting services provided in a clear and timely manner.
Qualifications
- Experience providing hands-on assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility support).
- Ability to perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and basic home safety tasks to support a clean, comfortable environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to build trust and provide meaningful companionship.
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and respect for client privacy and confidentiality.
- Capacity to follow care plans, document services accurately, and report concerns to supervisors or family members.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior caregiving, home care, or related experience is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in the Metro Phoenix, AZ area, including potential evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
- Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background checks and any required screenings.
