What are the responsibilities and job description for the NC BACK UP TRUCK DRIVER - LOCAL position at Decore-ative Specialties NC, LLC.?
You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Essential Functions:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skill, and Experience:
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Commercial valid driver's license
- Knowledge of Safety Regulations
- Must meet Department of Transportation medical requirements (DOT Physical)
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Constant standing, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 50 pounds.
