Responsibilities
Be capable of providing and performing all aspects of maintenance and repair on various types of HVAC equipment, without limitations. Some equipment you should be familiar with are the following: DX split systems, DX rooftop equipment, Chill water systems including air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, chilled water air handling units, circulating pumps, cooling towers, mini split systems, VRF systems, and any, and all related control circuits and systems. Additionally, you should understand and be able to interpret technical service bulletins, safety procedures and requirements, and operation system manuals, as well as completing equipment log sheets and warranty documents. Above all of this - you MUST put safety first, regarding use and care of all tools related to the HVAC industry at all times.
Qualifications
· 5 - 10 years of experience in Commercial, Heavy Commercial, and Industrial HVAC service.
· Universal EPA Certification (federal) and TDLR (state). (DMI can assist with obtaining TDLR).
· Basic knowledge of computers, MS Office Applications, electronic testing equipment, field software, and microprocessor controls associated with operating mechanical HVAC equipment.
· Ability to physically work on and perform all aspects of maintenance and repair on various types of equipment without limitations.
· Equipment knowledge MUST include DX split systems, DX rooftop equipment, Chill water systems including air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, chilled water air handling units, circulating pumps, cooling towers, mini split systems, VRF systems, and any, and all related control circuits and systems.
· Understand and interpret technical service bulletins, safety procedures and requirements, log sheets, operation system manuals, and warranty log requirements.
· Maintain a mentality of safety first, on use and care of all required tools related to the HVAC industry. (Some personal hand tools and test meters are required).
· Write and speak fluent English.
· Exceptional vision, with or without corrective lenses.
· Maintain a professional appearance, good hygiene
· Respectful communication skills with Field Techs, Customers and all office personnel.
· MUST have a valid driver’s license.
· MUST be able to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen
