Field Deployment Specialist

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Field Deployment Specialist to support emergency response operations at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position will provide on-site support for emergency response duty officer activities and assist with the deployment and coordination of resources in support of CDC mission requirements.

This is a 100% in-person position and requires on-site support at CDC facilities.

Coordinate IMS field staffing actions in support of response field deployment requirements.
• Coordinate searches and ensure deployment readiness requirements for staff.
• Provides support for data requests and reports.

• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's or equivalent. Emergency management staffing and deployment experience preferred.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience is an acceptable substitute for degree.
• This is a 100% in person position, unless otherwise determined by the technical monitor and COR.
• Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook Mail).
• Ability to effectively communicate needs at all briefings to assist with operational strategy.
• Ability to identify gaps in existing resources.
• Ability to multitask in emergency situations.
• Ability to be flexible with a strong sense of urgency.
• Interpersonal communication: telephone, email, and business etiquette.
• Strong proofreading skill and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
